We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Infrastructure & Security to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of critical infrastructure and security projects. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives align with business goals, and maintaining high standards of security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning and execution of infrastructure security projects, including upgrades, migrations, vulnerability management, and architecture hardening.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, cybersecurity, DevOps, and third-party vendors. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure project compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Manage the deployment of security tools and platforms (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint protection).
Track and report progress to stakeholders and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Coordinate post-project reviews and incorporate lessons learned into future planning.
Facilitate change management processes related to infrastructure security upgrades or implementations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience in infrastructure, security, or IT operations.
Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud services, cybersecurity frameworks, and ITIL best practices.
Experience managing security initiatives such as SOC implementation, vulnerability management, access controls, and disaster recovery planning.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or equivalent.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.).
Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices.
